The Herald Assembly is constantly working to bring Realms of Despair to the world, but there are many things that you can do as a player to help spread the word and help populate our game even more:

1. Tell a friend most people begin a new game or MUD over recommendation from a friend. If you're looking for a new activity to share with your friends, suggest Realms of Despair to them. Perhaps even start a new character with them so that they feel more comfortable and you have a new challenge.

2. Personal website Search engines use various methods to search for and list the results of searches, including META tags, text bodies and popularity. If you would like to link to http://www.realmsofdespair.com from your personal website, then involving common search phrases such as "free game", "free online game", "free multiplayer game" etc. improves your website's ranking on such search engines and increases the exposure of Realms of Despair.

3. Post to forums Forums are a great way to get attention. If you're a member of any other forums that have an "Other" or a "Games" section, you could post a brief review of Realms of Despair inviting others to check it out.

You are by no means obligated to advertise for Realms of Despair, that's our job. Although if you'd like to help out, these are just a few suggestions. There are thousands more things you could do, be creative! But please remember that whenever you advertise for the game, you are representing the game. Obey any applicable laws and be courteous at all times.
